Me and my boyfriend wanted to visit both Disney California and Disney Adventure back in June but unfortunately, we were not able to go. Our tickets are still in the app. Are they still valid? Is it possible to exchange them for a different park (Paris)?

Hiya, Silvia! We are so happy you found your way to planDisney!

I'm so sorry to hear you had to cancel your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth back in June! It's never fun to have to put a pause on the magic, but the great news is that each and every ticket comes with quite a long runway for your magic carpet. Disneyland is fully aware that sometimes Jafar can throw a twist and turn in your plans, so there is usually quite a long window before those tickets expire. For tickets purchased this year, you have until December 30, 2023 to use single-day tickets and January 12, 2024 for multi-day tickets. Your exact expiration date should be visible in the Disneyland mobile app if you navigate to the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and click on "Tickets & Passes". Here, you can scroll through any valid tickets and you should see the expiration just under the barcode. If you have any questions about your expiration date, you can always reach out to Guest Services. While you are not able to transfer tickets to another Disney theme park (Disneyland Paris, in your case), I hope these long windows allow for some daydreaming about a trip in the future! Oh! And just something to keep in mind ... there is a bit of magic in every ticket that never fully burns out. I realize you are traveling from abroad and California is not a quick or easy trip. If for some reason you are unable to make it back before your expiration, you can always apply the value of the original ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket! Your tickets will drop out of your app when they expire, so be sure to hang on to your ticket confirmation email or keep your ticket number in a safe place!

While you're thinking about a possible trip down the line, I highly recommend checking out the new planDisney Podcast for inspiration on when you might like to visit! There are episodes dedicated to Halloween and the holidays, Resorts, and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, with new episodes dropping every month! You'll be sure to find some insider tips and tricks along with must-dos you maybe had never considered before! I like to have a pen and pencil at the ready to jot down notes - these episodes are full of magical tidbits.

Silvia, I hope this was helpful in your planning! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney. On your next trip, be sure to grab a sweet treat and take a few moments to sit and let the magic soak in around you.

    Never stop dreaming!
