My boyfriend and I will be using the Disney Dining Plan during our trip in March. At a table service restaurant, I know we get an entree, dessert and alcoholic beverage included but how would it work if we ordered an app also? Pay for that separately?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love using the Disney Dining Plan, both for the great value, and for the limitless coffee in the refillable drink mug!

You are correct - for a table service meal, you will receive an entree, dessert and beverage (alcoholic or otherwise) included in your Disney Dining Plan, and everything else (including any other drinks and an appetizer) will be charged separately, along with a gratuity if you so wish. If you wanted to upgrade to the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, an appetizer would be included in your table service meal.
