Hello! My boyfriend and I have tickets for this month and I just want to be positive on what we have to bring. We haven’t been able to update our out of state ids due to covid. Can we bring a copy of our lease as our proof of residency? Thanks!

    Hey there, Amanda!

Welcome to planDisney! It's so great to hear that you and your boyfriend are planning a visit to Disneyland Resort. I can imagine you're getting so excited for all that magic that awaits you.

As you likely know, currently only California residents can visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks. One item you will want to bring with you when you visit is your proof of California residency. If you have your lease agreement that shows your names and your California residential address, I would definitely say you should bring that document. If you have other documents such as a utility bill or bank statement -- documents that show your name and your California residential address -- I would bring those documents as well. You'll want to have some photo identification showing your photo and your names that are the same as the names on the documents showing your residential address.

Amanda, if you haven't already, you'll want to be sure to make your theme park reservations through the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system

It's also helpful to keep up to date with new announcements about Disneyland Resort to help you plan your visit to the theme parks. You might also want to check out the Disney Parks Blog for Disneyland Resort updates.

Here's wishing you all the magic as you enjoy Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

And here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today, too!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
