    My boyfriend and I are taking our first trip to Disney together 1/9/12-1/13/12. I have never stayed on Disney property before, and we are getting the meal plan. I have heard you can get it free at certain times. Traditionally, does this week qualify?

    Hi Allison!

          Congratulations on your first Disney trip together!!!  January is a fantastic month to visit, for so many reasons!  First and foremost, the weather is actually cool, if not cold.  This is a welcome change from the brutal heat!!!  The crowds are historically almost non existent, which typically means great deals and promotions.  The great news is that if you book your vacation now and the FREE dining plan is available during your dates, you can call 1-407-WDISNEY and have them alter your reservation.  You have nothing to lose by booking early and everything to gain!

        I'll keep my fingers crossed that free dining will be offered during your dates - have a great time!
