Hi Roberta,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
One of my favourite time-and-money-saving tips for any visit to Walt Disney World Resort is to have breakfast in the hotel room before heading out for a day of fun at the Theme Parks. You’ll be happy to know that all rooms, including those at
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, do include mini-fridges. I’ve found that they’re a great size for holding a small container of milk (you’re Canadian, so you’ll know what I mean when I say that the fridges hold a 1 litre container of milk quite easily), as well as some juice, fruit, yogourt etc. So I would definitely recommend grabbing some breakfast fixins and using those during your stay.
If you’re renting a car, there are several grocery stores and other places to buy food a short distance away from Walt Disney World Resort. If you aren’t, while your Resort’s gift shop,
Donald's Double Feature, may have some items available for purchase, there is a slight markup for several of those items. Instead, I would recommend using a service such as Garden Grocer (www.gardengrocer.com) in order to have your goodies delivered straight to your room. It’s a great service!
Congratulations in advance! I hope you have a lovely wedding day and a truly magical honeymoon,
Lynne
