My boyfriend and I are staying at All-Star Sports (it is his first trip to Disney ever!) and we plan to take advantage of the 6am EMH at Hollywood Studios. Can we use our resort mugs to get coffee before the food court opens at 6:30? He needs his coffee

Hey Rachel. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How exciting this will be your boyfriends first ever trip to Walt Disney World! I know you guys are going to have a great time!

While staying at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, you'll be able to refill your mug anytime the End Zone Food Court is open. Currently, the calendar is showing that the food court is open every day from 6:30 a.m. until midnight each day around your arrival date in August. When you check in to your resort, I'd mention to the Cast Member helping you that you plan to take advantage of the all new extra, Extra Magic Hours and see if they have a solution in place for you to be able to get your morning cup of joe before you head out for the day. Because extra, Extra Magic Hours has never been done before I'd expect each resort hotel to handle this a little differently. If there's no plan in place at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort to serve coffee that early, I'd consider picking up an iced coffee somewhere the night before. Your resort hotel room comes with a small refrigerator where you'd be able to keep it cold for moring. Once you've arrived at Disney's Hollywood Studios in the morning, your boyfriend will be able to get his hot cup of coffee at Starbucks located inside of the Theme Park. Another idea would be to bring an insulated style cup from home. Before you go to sleep the night before, fill up your resort mug with coffee. When you get back to your room, transfer it to your insulated cup and make sure the lid is on tightly. This style of cup should keep your coffee pretty warm until the morning.

I know this isn't a clear answer but because extra, Extra Magic Hours is so new we don't really know all of the details surrounding it yet. As it gets closer to time, I'd keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more information. If we can help answer any other questions you might have, please feel free to come back and ask. Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
