Hi Desiree,
Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for continuing to trust us with your planning needs. I’m so excited to hear that you’ll be attending
Star Wars Nite on Star Wars Day! I hope the Force is strong with the two of you as you embark on this galactic celebration.
Building a lightsaber is a sacred ritual that only a fortunate few get to experience.
Savi’s Workshop has limited spots available, and reservations tend to go quickly. As I write this, I see that there are currently no reservations available for May 4th. I also checked the schedule, and Savi’s Workshop will be open that day from 8:05 AM to 7:40 PM. Unfortunately, that means there are no scheduled build times during the Star Wars Nite event itself.
However, all hope is not lost, young Padawan! I have a few suggestions that may give you a chance to secure a reservation. Even though Star Wars Nite officially begins at 9:00 PM, your special event ticket includes admission to Disneyland Park as early as 6:00 PM. I recommend arriving early so you can enter the park as close to 6:00 as possible. Then head straight to Savi’s Workshop to check if they’re accepting any walk-up appointments before they close. You can also ask if there will be any extended hours for the workshop that day—sometimes the Force works in mysterious ways!
I hope this information was helpful, Desiree! If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the
Foodie Guide to see what limited-time galactic goodies will be offered during Star Wars Nite. And if you have any other questions, need more help, or want more intergalactic tips, feel free to send another transmission to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists—we’d be happy to help.
May the Force be with you, always.
