My boyfriend and I will be spending our Honeymoon in Disney 9/7/14-9/14/14. Which moderate resort would you recommend?

    Hi Sara,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! My very favorite moderate resort is Port Orleans French Quarter, and it is the resort I would recommend for your honeymoon. My husband and I often choose Port Orleans French Quarter for our anniversary trips to Walt Disney World because it is quiet, intimate and has a more adult feel than some of the other resorts.

The last time we stayed there for an anniversary, we got a king-bed room on a corner, facing a courtyard, and it felt incredibly private and luxurious.

Because it is the smallest resort on the Disney property, everything is very convenient (including the fresh beignets in the food court). There isn't a table-service restaurant on the property, but Port Orleans Riverside, home to Boatwright's Dining Hall, is less than a 10-minute walk away. And you are just a short boat or bus ride away from the restaurants, shopping and entertainment at Downtown Disney.

I hope that is helpful. Please let us know if you have other questions, including advice on romantic honeymoon dining. We're happy to help.
