Hi Elise,
Welcome to planDisney!
I can hEAR the excitement as you prepare for your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! At this time, there is no requirement to have a COVID vaccine prior to visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. My family and I were not vaccinated on our last trip, but we definitely followed the
health and safety protocols while there. Although there were plenty of hand sanitizer stations in the parks and resorts, we also brought our own hand sanitizer and washed hands repeatedly during the day.
We followed the face covering protocols faithfully, and paid attention to the social distancing guidelines while in the parks. We also dined quickly to limit our mask-less time in restaurants. We relied on
advanced dining reservations and used
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering occasionally. We also made dining reservations for the beginning of meal periods to dine prior to restaurants getting more crowded. At
Rose & Crown Dining Room, for example, we made a reservation at the beginning of the lunch period and were able to get a table on the patio outside.
As you continue to plan, keep your eye on the
operational updates, paying attention to dining and theme park experience updates. On our last visit, we found the park entry process quite efficient. We checked the
park hours prior to our visit to make sure we had good arrival time plans. At Disney Springs, we used the virtual queue for
World of Disney instead of standing outside in a line.
Elise, I trust you are
getting packed and ready. Plan out your
matching gear and coordinate as only a superhero can. We cannot wait to welcome you for an
Incredible Disney visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
