Boyfriend and I are planning a trip to WDW for next summer staying over a week. We want to save money but we also don't want a cheap Disney experience since this will probably be our only trip to WDW. Which hotel would offer the best experience for us?

    Hi Lauren!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

I think you should look at a Disney Value Resort.  Pop Century is a great place to stay if you are visiting on a budget.  However, I suggest considering the new Art of Animation of Resort.  It just recently opened and it has been getting rave reviews.  It's more expensive than Pop Century, but it is still considered to be a Disney Value Resort.  If you stay at the Art of Animation Resort you will definitely feel surrounded by the magic!

If you want to move up to a Disney Moderate Resort, I suggest staying at either Port Orleans Riverside or Port Orleans French Quarter.  Between the two, I prefer Riverside.  I love the Alligator Bayou section of the resort and its theming.  I also love the boat service from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney.  It is a lot of fun, especially at night!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
