Hi My boyfriend and I are planning our trip to Disney World, but we are having a hard time finding a place that is afordable for all 7 of us. He has 3 children and I have 2. Can anyone recommend a place. Thanks

    Hi Joanne,

We have 7 people in our family (5 kids), so I understand that it can be difficult to find affordable accommodations.

When we aren't staying in our Disney Vacation Club timeshare, what we've done is rent 2 Value Resort rooms. With young children, they are guaranteed to be connecting rooms. We've stayed at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort in connecting standard rooms and had plenty of space. It was nice because we had 2 showers, etc.

I'd suggest you call Disney reservations at 407-W DISNEY (407-934-7639) with your desired travel dates. Ask them to price out 2 standard value rooms for you. If possible, I'd recommend that you travel to Disney during the value season, and Sunday - Thursday which is when the rates are at their lowest. Staying on property will save you from having to rent a car, because you can use Disney's complimentary Magical Express shuttle service from the airport. Once you are on property, transportation is available to anywhere on-site you'll need to go.

Hope this helps and have a great trip,
