Kylie from ME Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My boyfriend and I are planning to book a trip June 13th to June 19th at the Art of Animation hotel, and we will be doing 3 days in the parks. Since Covid, what are the new guidelines surrounding using the pool, going to other hotels etc. Thank you!

    Howdy Kylie!

Welcome to planDisney!  Thank you for stopping by and sharing your questions with us!

With the warm heat from the Florida sun in the summer months, a dip in the pool always hits the spot!  To maintain minimal person-to-person contact and physical distancing, your pool experiences could look a little bit different.  Currently, the pool area is monitored and offers limited capacity to implement all of these safety measures.  When you are in the pool area, you will be required to wear a face-covering, but you can remove your face-covering when you are in the pool or stationary in a chair or lounger.  If the pool is at maximum capacity, you will find a sign near the pool’s gate notifying all guests.  You will have access to all the pools at your home away from home resort hotel, but pool hopping is not allowed.  Since you are staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, you will be able to enjoy the largest pool throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!  I know you will enjoy all of the pools at this fun-filled resort hotel, but the Big Blue Pool is a family favorite!

You will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during one of my favorite festivals!  The Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is a must-do for all ages!  This festival offers one of my favorite things to see in the spring at EPCOT!  The beautiful topiary displays sprinkled throughout EPCOT are full of whimsical fun, and you never know if you might find your favorite topiary character, “Just Around the Riverbend!”

There will be lots to see and do during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!  To stay informed of everything happening during your vacation to Neverland, check the Disney Parks Blog!  While you continue to plan, if you have any more questions, please come back to planDisney!  We look forward to helping you again, Kylie!

    See Ya Real Soon,
    Tamela
