Hi moms my boyfriend and i will be making a trip to Disney world soon and this will be his first time and my second CD so what do you recommend for us?? we both want something a little different and we want to do it most mornings too. we are open anything!

    Hi Lorraine!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I suggest trying some of the following for a change of pace:
    • Dine in one or two Disney Signature Restaurants during your stay.  The most romantic in my opinion are Jiko in the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Bistro de Paris in Epcot, California Grill in the Contemporary Resort, and Citricos in the Grand Floridian.  My personal favorite is the California Grill.  If you decide to go there, try to time being there during the Wishes fireworks show in the Magic Kingdom for a truly magical experience.
    • Try one of the backstage tours.  To get a feel of what a tour provides, try the Keys to the Kingdom tour for your first one.  It takes you backstage in the Magic Kingdom.  It is reasonably priced and doesn't last too long.
    • Try renting Sea Raycer boats and cruise on the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.  You can pick up a boat at the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, the Contemporary, the Wilderness Lodge, and at Fort Wilderness.  You do not have to be a guest there.  They are a lot of fun!
    • Do a Segway Tour at Fort Wilderness or at Epcot.  Both occur early in the morning and both are a lot of fun!
    • If you really want to try something different, sign up for surfing lessons over at Typhoon Lagoon.  They are offered very early in the morning, but they are a lot of fun and guests learn quickly.  The wave pool can produce perfect waves for surfing so guests learn much faster there in general than they would if learning in the ocean.

These are just some ideas to get you started.  Please write back with more questions!
