My boyfriend made reservations and bought tickets for a 3 day multi-park stay for both of us, but now he's not able to go. I still want to go and he sent me my ticket on my phone. Do I have to do anything else or am I good to go?

    Hi Selina,

    Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you have your Theme Park ticket, but if you haven’t already, you should create your own My Disney Experience mobile app account. This way you can use your ticket’s ID number to link to the app. Once this happens, you can do a number of things that help your planning process, leading to a speedy Theme Park entrance.

First, you’ll want to book your Disney Park Pass reservations. Currently the Walt Disney World Resort is requiring both valid Theme Park Admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation for entry into Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. To do this, start at the home screen in the My Disney Experience mobile app, select the “+” symbol in the bar at the bottom (two buttons to the right of the “home” button). Next, select “Make a Park Reservation” then select “Theme Park Tickets”. This will take you to the Theme Park Reservation page where you can select your Disney Park Pass reservations. Want to see all the Theme Park availability for your trip? Check out the Theme Park Reservation calendar

Second, if you have an iPhone or Apple Watch, you can utilize Disney MagicMobile Service. In your My Disney Experience mobile app, click the three lines in the lower right-hand corner of the home screen. From there, select the square titled “Disney MagicMobile”, you might need to sign in to your account again. Then you will be taken to “Your Passes”and next select the “plus” button in the upper right-hand corner. From there you’ll be able to create a Disney MagicMobile pass which can be download to your Apple Wallet. Think of this as another form of a mobile ticket that can be used. Once in your Apple Wallet, you won’t need to open up the My Disney Experience mobile app or use a barcode to access your ticket at the Mickey turnstiles!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation very soon. If you have further planning or vacation questions, feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
