Hello, My boyfriend and I are looking to get way from the Northeast for a good week in the beginning for Jan 2012. It will be his first time going and our first real vacation together. Can anyone tell me about the All Star resorts or a nice resort @ disney

    Hi Shannon!

Looks like you are almost ready to go! I would try to pick the week after the second weekend of January. The second weekend in January is when they are having the Walt Disney World Marathon so the week leading up to that weekend should be a little more crowded. After the marathon, you should be ok. As for a type of resort, I would pick whatever is in your price range. I have stayed at the All-Star Movies resort and really enjoyed it. I've also stayed at a few of the deluxe resorts and they were fantastic. I don't think you can make a bad choice with any of the Disney Resorts. If you are planning on being in the parks most of the time, then I would suggest a lower priced resort then spend the savings on a couple of world class restaurants! But, that's just the food enthusiast that I am. I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
