My boyfriend and I are leaving for WDW in a week and will be having dinner at California Grill at 6PM our first night. I wanted to watch the fireworks from the restaurant but couldn't find a later reservation. Best place to view from the Contemporary?

    Hi Rebecca!
Thanks for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Dining at the California Grill atop Disney's Contemporary Resort is a "must do" for me and my girls whenever we visit Walt Disney World! The food is spectacular and the view CANNOT be beat. I understand why you would want a later reservation to be able to view the Magic Kingdom's Happily Ever After Fireworks Show from high above the resort. It is AMAZING!!
Great news!! Even though you have an earlier reservation, you and your boyfriend can easily return later on for the show if you choose. Simply check back in at the second floor reservation desk for California Grill and show your dinner receipt. You will be readmitted to the restaurant and can enjoy the show from the lounge at California Grill or from out on the observation deck just outside the restaurant. The music is piped in from Magic Kingdom so it makes the show even more special.
I hope this helps and I wish you both a Magical vacation!!
