    My boyfriend and I will be headed to WDW for the first weekend of the Food & Wine Festival. How busy does EPCOT get and is there a better day to go during the weekend? There is also a marathon that weekend, so how will that effect crowd levels? Thanks!

         The Food and Wine Festival in Epcot is amazing.  I went to my first Food and Wine Festival the first weekend of October last year and I loved it!  Typically, during weekdays the Food and Wine Festival is less busy than on the weekends.  This year's Food and Wine Festival may be extremely busy because of the Wine and Dine Half Marathon and the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World which will be celebrated on that 1st weekend of October as well.  I would recommend that you explore Epcot's Food and Wine Festival preferably on Monday through Thursday for lighter crowds.
