my boyfriend and I go on Tuesday October 9 to disney to celebrate 1 year of boyfriends, there in disney we became boyfriends and I want to ask for a marriage in a special way, could you help me or guide me to do something nice?

    Hi Ruben!

First off, Congratulations!!! I'm actually a bit jealous that you're getting engaged at Walt Disney World Resort. Remember, no matter what you say or where you ask, this moment in your story as a couple will be just perfect!

Definitely sneak away to grab two "Happily Ever After" celebration buttons from your Disney Resort Hotel Front Desk or from Guest Relations to have ready for the moment after he says yes. These buttons make amazing photo props and also add a bit of extra preparedness to the event. Pro Tip: If you plan to use a Disney PhotoPass Photographer to capture the moment, slip them a note or tell them a few minutes ahead of time so they'll know something extra magical is about to happen.

As far as actually asking, this depends a lot on you two as a couple. Are you both huge DisNerds? Nothing is more iconic Disney than right in front of Cinderella Castle. Do you share a favorite ride? You could ask mid-flight on Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Are you two really silly or playful? Hold up a poster a few moments before the on-ride photo of Space Mountain. Are y'all really social media savvy? Head for any famous wall. Are you Disney Foodies? Slide the ring on a churro, the stick of a Mickey Bar, or use to top a Dole Whip. And a fun Disney-spin on a candlelit dinner is on the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort Village during the Electrical Water Pageant.

I do hope this helped, Ruben, and please reach back out to us or to your Disney Resort Hotel Concierge for any more help that you may need. Congratulations again!!
    ~Kristen
