My boyfriend and I are driving to Walt Disney Resort and arriving at our resort (Pop Century) around 8 AM. We intend to leave our bags at Bell Services and then go to the park. Will our bags be put in our room when it's ready and will we be notified?

Hi Hettie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In just a few days, you will begin your stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort and I know you must be thrilled! This Disney Resort hotel has been a long-time favorite value resort among Walt Disney World Resort fans and with the recent refurbishment, it has a nice, modern feel in the rooms. I bet you will really enjoy your visit!

Once you arrive, I encourage you to stop by the Front Desk first to see if your room happens to be ready early. It probably won't be yet, but on a recent visit, my husband and I arrived at 9:00 A.M. and our room was already available! You just never know and it's worth asking. If your room is ready, you can go ahead and take your luggage to your room and will be all set. If it isn't ready, you can leave your bags with Bell Services. The Disney Resort hotel will text you when your room is ready (that has been my experience and it is SO convenient!). Once you return to Disney's Pop Century Resort, you can either stop by Bell Services to pick-up your luggage or call down to Bell Services from your room and ask them to bring up the bags. While there have been instances that Bell Services delivered bags without a Guest being present, my more recent experience is that they require a Guest to be in the room to make the delivery.

I hope this helps, Hettie! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
