My boyfriend doesn’t have a California ID can he go to Disney land

Hi there Gabriela, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question, and I'd be happy to assist you. We appreciate your patience as we help all Mouseketeers who are anxious to return to a land of magic!

It's an exciting time to be one of Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors. I love seeing the joy on my California resident pals' faces as they enjoy the sights and sounds of the Happiest Place on Earth once again. Be sure to follow along on social media to experience the fun from home while you wait for your own visit.

During the current phase of reopening, all those who reside in the Golden State are welcome in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. As long as your boyfriend has a valid California address, he can access the theme park reservation system and make arrangements to visit the parks. After selecting the date he would like to visit, he will be asked to confirm that he is currently a California resident, and he'll be on his way!

Upon arrival at the theme parks, all Guests may be asked to provide additional proof of residency, so any documents he has will be helpful. Just to be on the safe side, I'd recommend your boyfriend bring a copy of something mailed to him at a California address to affirm his status; something like a utility or credit card bill would be fine!

Best wishes for your theme park adventure, Gabriela, and if there is anything else we can do to help make future visits even more magical, come back anytime. Thanks again for sending your question our way, and we'll see ya real soon!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
