My boyfriend and me are going to Disney May 7th-May 13th. I was wondering how the weather and crowds are then. Also, I signed up for the Fantasmic Dinner Package. Is the dinner package worth it?

Hi Gina...sounds like a fun trip you are planning for you and you boyfriend!

May weather is the start of the warm season so think summer when packing! Average temperatures will be from 66 to 88 degrees.  This is also the beginning of the rain and you can see days of good showers and then days of nothing but beautiful sunshine. I always say plan for the rain when you come and be pleasantly surprised if you have a completely dry vacation.  The average rainfall this month is about 3.7 inches.  But don't let rain stop your park fun. Buy a poncho in any store and keep going...many families leave and thus the attraction lines can become non existent.

This time period is considered average attendance.  This means there will be attraction lines but they are quite manageable.  Use the FAST PASS system for those that offer it and plan your days so you are not hitting main rides during the prime times. Get to them early or stay late.  You shouldn't have any problems with crowds but also please do get some advanced dining reservations so you are sure to eat at your favorite location!

Fantasmic is a great show and I do think the dining package is worth it. You will have a special location to sit and it takes that stress away from trying to eat quick and get in line for a prime location.  Enjoy this great trip!
