My boyfriend got me and him 3-day tickets for the SoCal resident but I didn’t get my ID in time, is there any way I can show my permit picture on paper for ID

    Hi Jimena,

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. The SoCal Resident Ticket is a great way to experience the magic between now and May 15, 2025! I'm sure you are eager to get your plans in place, so I'm going to jump right into your question.

I do have some less than pixie-dusted news to share. With the SoCal Resident Ticket being such an incredible offer, there are pretty firm requirements around who is able to purchase them and the proof of residency. We have been told many times by Cast Members that each ticket holder is required to present a valid government-issued photo ID that includes proof of residence in ZIP codes 90000 - 93599. I know that was not what you were hoping to hear as you may need to reschedule your first visit until you have that new ID in hand.

The good news is that you have just about 3 months to use all 3 of those park days. If you need to modify your upcoming theme park reservation to a later date, this is easily done on the website or directly in the Disneyland app. Simply head to the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Mark a Park Reservation". From here, you can select "Make or Modify Park Reservations" or you can take a look at reservation availability by selecting "Park Ticket Availability" and toggling to the calendar for SoCal Resident Ticket holders. I'm wishing on a star that your ID arrives very soon and you find yourself strolling down Main Street in no time!

With three months to use those tickets, you'll be able to take advantage of a few special offerings throughout the parks. California Adventure's Food & Wine Festival kicks off February 28 and runs all the way through April 21st while Season of the Force at Disneyland Park will run March 28 - May 11. If you are a Jedi fan, buckle up because they just announced that Luke Skywalker himself will be making an appearance at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge during this special celebration! This very well may be his first visit to Batuu! Additionally, a new nightly projection show "Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Sage" will debut to make those evenings even more magical. Keep your eyes peeled on the Disney Parks Blog - a Foodie Guide for the Food and Wine Festival just dropped along with a complete guide to Season of the Force!

Jimena, I know you are in for a magical few visits. If you have any more questions in your planning, please come back to see us. We are always here for you at planDisney.

    See ya real soon,
    Tara
