My boyfriend and I are currently living in California in a hotel for work. Does this include being able to go to the park even if our ID’s have our hometown on them?

    Hi Kaylyn,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

It's so fun to see that you're planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort!

Currently, and through June 15, 2021, the Disneyland Resort theme parks can be visited only by California residents. If you're a resident of California visiting the theme parks during this time, you'll want to be sure to bring your proof of California residency. You could bring a California state-issued photo ID that shows a California residential address if you have one. You could also bring your photo ID and a document that can be proof of your California residential address such as a utility bill in your name or a lease agreement in your name. The important thing is to have some documented proof of your California residential address.

It's helpful to know that the Disneyland Resort theme parks will be opened to Guests outside of California  starting June 15.

Kaylyn, when you are making your plans to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, be sure to make your theme park reservations so you can enjoy all the magic.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
