Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Emily! You're going to love visiting Walt Disney World Resort in September. When I visit at that time of year with my family, we always add the
Disney Dining Plan to our vacation package so we can use our Snack credits to sample all of the different offerings at the Global Marketplaces that pop up during the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
You'll find that there are a lot of flexible ways for you to use your Disney Dining Plan credits, and one of those would be redeeming what would be considered an "adult" Quick-Service credit for something on the kids' menu. Although it might not be the best way to maximize the value of your credits, you're certainly allowed to use them that way. If you and your boyfriend want to eat some smaller meals, you might consider redeeming one Quick-Service credit and sharing the meal. My husband and I do this all the time, mostly so we can use our credits to try lots of different menu items from a variety of dining locations. When we're at Disney's Animal Kingdom, we love to split the Ribs, Chicken and Pulled Pork Sampler from
Flame Tree Barbecue, which is a great value on the Dining Plan too. There are also times where a kids' menu item is so delicious, like the "Teylu" All-Beef Hotdog Wrapped in Dough from
Satu'li Canteen, that it's totally worth an adult Quick-Service credit, so go ahead and use them in the way that works best for you.
I hope this answers your question, Emily, and let us know if we can do anything else to help you plan your magical vacation.
