My boyfriend is coming with me and my family on our first Disney trip, he is flight out back home a day before us and he was going to use the Airline Check In at our hotel, does that mean he has to use the Magical Express transportation? or can i take him?

    Hello Alicia,

I am so happy for you and your family to be experiencing your very first Walt Disney World vacation. The memories you make will certainly last a lifetime and hopefully have you wanting to go back again and again.

The resort airline check-in service is a great one that takes the hassle out of having to stop at the ticketing counter at the Orlando International Airport. So, I am glad that you are wanting to take advantage of this amazing service. Please note that not all airlines participate, so check the link I provided for a complete list of those participating airlines. Your boyfriend can absolutely use the check-in service without having to take Disney's Magical Express. This service is offered daily from 5:00am-12:00pm. He must complete check-in at least three hours prior to his flight. Do remember to allow him enough time for driving and going through the security. The security line at Orlando International Airport can be very long with all of the tourists leaving on a daily basis. I would recommend leaving your resort hotel a minimum of two to two and a half hours prior to his departure time. Disney's Magical Express typically picks guests up three hours prior, but they do make multiple stops before making their way to the airport.

Have a magical trip and feel free to stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if more questions come up. We would love to help!
