Hi there, Kaylee, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with your great question!
It’s finally February, and love is in the air at the
Disneyland Resort! I’m so excited for you and your boyfriend to experience this special day inside the Happiest Place on Earth! You’re correct that there is a
Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite on February 14 – this is a special after-hours event where Guests party in the name of love from 8:00 PM to Midnight at
Disneyland Park. So, here’s how it works – Sweethearts’ Nite Guests can start “mixing in” to Disneyland Park as early as 5:00 PM, and then
the park closes to regularly-ticketed Guests at 7:00 PM. So, if you don’t have special event tickets for the party (which are currently sold out) your Disneyland Park day will end at 7:00 PM. However, if you have a Park Hopper ticket, then you are more than welcome to “hop” on over to
Disney California Adventure Park for the rest of your evening, since it will remain open until 9:00 PM.
Don’t forget to catch
Mickey’s Mix Magic with Projections at 6:45 PM – my favorite spots to watch this fun nighttime show are in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and on Main Street, U.S.A.!
If you don’t have Park Hoppers, I recommend heading to
Downtown Disney District after your day ends at Disneyland Park. There are some delicious Valentine’s Day-themed cocktails and treats to be enjoyed throughout the Resort.
Check out this Foodie Guide for all the information about where to find these special treats! Just scroll down the post until you get to the “Disneyland Resort” section. Also, for a romantic dinner for two, head to
GCH Craftsman Bar, located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The food is divine, and the specialty Valentine’s cocktails sound scrumptious – I can’t wait to try the
Tuxedo Strawberry!
I hope this information helps as you plan your magically romantic visit to the Disneyland Resort, Kaylee!
We can’t wait to see ya’ real soon!
