    Hi! My boyfriend & I will be arriving at WDW in May 2012! We are staying at the Pop Century & will be there for about a week around Memorial Day Weeked. Any advice on what days to avoid at the parks due to the holiday? Thanks,

    Hi Courtney! May is such a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World.The weather is beautiful and the crowds are usually moderate, even over Memorial Day Weekend.  Most schools don't let out until June.  There are several events happening in May that I don't want you to miss.  I am not sure about what date you will be arriving, but the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is held until May 20th.  Epcot is filled with beautiful Disney character topiaries and the Flower Power Concert Series has live music in the American Gardens Theatre.  Star Wars Weekends are at Disney's Hollywood Studios through June 10th.  You will be able to meet and greet your favorite Star Wars Characters.  Park admission is required for both events. Since you are staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort, you will be able to take advantage of Extra Magic hours. These are only for guests staying on Walt Disney World property and will cut down on any crowds you may experience.  I hope you and your boyfriend have a magical vacation.
