My 4yo boy is in our MYW Dining Plan and prefers adult food to that on Child's Menu. Is it mandatory for him to order from Kids section or can he trade for an appetizer or food of equal/less value from the regular menus. This Panel rocks! Thanks!

    Hi Arturo,

Unfortunately, children ages 3-9 years old must order from a childrens menu (where available) when using the Dining Plan.  Substitutions for things like appetizers and desserts, etc... are not allowed.  You are certainly allowed to order him an appetizer or anything else he wishes off of the adult menu, but you will be "paying out of pocket" for this.  This is a very common question that many, many guests ask all the time, so don't worry....if you don't ask, you won't know, right?  I hope you have a fabulous trip to WDW and that you ALL enjoy the Dining Plan.

    Best wishes,
