I have a 16 y/o boy and a 5 y/o girl. We are planning to do Epcot and HWS in one day. Thrill rides for him, Frozen for her. Which park should we do during the day/night? Any tips on how to make this day run smooth? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Judith,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I think you have a great itinerary planned to incorporate both Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot on the same day. In fact, I almost always use this very same strategy.

Based on my own personal experience, I recommend visiting Epcot in the morning and Disney's Hollywood Studios in the afternoon/evening so that you can see Fantasmic!  Although I enjoy IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, I believe your children will prefer Fantasmic! since the popular nighttime show features many Disney Characters.

My recommendation is to arrive at Epcot before park opening and experience Frozen Ever After first thing, followed by Soarin' and Test Track. I suggest booking your FastPass+ selections for Disney's Hollywood Studios rather than Epcot.

Consider booking an Advanced Dining Reservation for lunch at one of the amazing restaurants in World Showcase before leaving Epcot. My family's favorites include: Via Napoli Ristorante e PizzeriaTeppan Edo and Le Cellier Steakhouse. From the World Showcase, you can easily exit Epcot through the International Gateway entrance in order to catch the boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I hope this information is helpful to you.  If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Judith!

    Happy Planning,
