Boy, am I getting my research done from your Q&A for our 1st trip to WDW 1/20-24!! I had a question about Planet Hollywood in DD. How loud is it in there? Our kids are 4 & 6 and don't want a loud music env. like Hard Rock Cafe!! Son has sensitiv

    Hi LyAna,

How exciting that you have your countdown started to your first Disney vacation!  First visits to Walt Disney World are extra magical, so be sure to celebrate yours by picking up some free "First Visit" pins at Guest Relations at whichever park you head to first.  Some of your question was cut off, but I think I have the "gist" if it.  Planet Hollywood is a great spot for a casual family meal, however, it can be loud.  If your son has sensitivity to loud music or loud environments in general, I would definitely suggest having an adult walk in and "scope it out" before committing to sitting and dining. I will say that the music is louder in the common areas (such as the waiting area), but even while dining, it is louder than most restaurants I have dined at.

For a more "low key" but fun spot at Downtown Disney, I recommend Cap n' Jacks on the waterfront.  My boys (ages 5 and 7) love the view of the water while dining, and we find it to be a great, peaceful spot to end a perfect Disney day.

    Have a fabulous visit!
