You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. In just a few days, you'll be heading for the second star to the right and straight on to Walt Disney World Resort –– you must be getting so excited! Not only will you get to experience all the magic of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration during your visit, but you'll also be staying at one of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels,
Disney's Beach Club Resort. With its clean lines, relaxed vibe, close proximity to
two Walt Disney World theme parks, and
the best pool in all of Walt Disney World (in my humble opinion), I think you're in for an amazing stay!
In addition to world-class amenities and magical Disney touches, like you, I think some of the best things about staying at any of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels are the many activities you find across the Resorts. Whether you're
booking a cabana for a day by the pool, tie-dying a Mickey t-shirt at the
Community Halls, wine tasting, renting a surrey bike, or even roasting marshmallows over a campfire, you'll find enough activities to keep you busy for multiple Walt Disney World vacations. Since each Resort offers a different rotating schedule of activities, it can be tough to keep all those choices straight, but don't worry –– the Resort activities board is about to become your top tool for everything going on around your Resort.
Typically, you'll find an activities board near the front desk in the main lobby, along with locations scattered throughout Disney's Beach Club Resort (on my last visit, I even found one out by the bus stop). On the board, you can see a list of details, times, and locations for all the Resort activities that will be happening during your stay, including the showings for Movies Under the Stars. And the best part? You'll find these boards at each and every
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. So, if you're planning to talk a stroll to Disney's BoardWalk Inn or jump on Disney Skyliner for a visit to Disney's Riviera Resort during your stay, you'll also be able to find a full list of the activities that are happening at those Resorts, as well. If Resort activities are high on your to-do list, I also suggest snapping a picture of the board with your phone as soon as you arrive at Disney's Beach Club Resort. That way, you'll be able to peruse the list at your leisure, make a plan to add your favorite activities to your itinerary, and have an easy reference of activities at your fingertips for the rest of your stay.
