Hello and welcome to planDisney, Sandy!
I hope adjusting back to being home has been a smooth transition for you. I tend to struggle! I’ve been home from my last visit for about a week now and have eased the transition by booking our next visit with the bounce-back offer. It’s not until 2026, but knowing that it’s on the schedule has helped those post-Mickey blues.
Sandy, the bounce-back offer is intended to be booked 7 days after your checkout date. Since it is past that timeline, unfortunately, that offer no longer exists in your
My Disney Experience Account. The good news is, there are still plenty of other
Special Offers you can take advantage of! I recommend starting there and seeing if there’s anything currently available that works with your future dates. Since you are looking to return around this time next year, I recommend waiting to see what summer offers come out early next year, but it doesn't hurt to look, and maybe even push that future trip up.
Even with your trip being a year away, you can still begin planning and budgeting for that future visit now. We like to purchase
Disney Gift Cards throughout the year and store them until our next visit, or to help with those spontaneous visits. I just used a saved gift card to purchase my ticket to
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It doesn’t make sense to my husband, but in my eyes, it was a deal because of my saved gift card. I like to call this "Disney math"; it justifies my purchases. And if you haven't noticed, Disney Vacations are a soft spot for me. If you even hint at a
Disney vacation, I'm there! In all seriousness, purchasing those Disney Gift cards throughout the year helps with our budgeting. So it is worth a try.
Sandy, I can’t wait for you to get back to the magic, and hopefully soon too. If you need any more help getting there, please
ask away!
See ya real soon,
Shantel
