Walt Disney World vacation, but there is always something new to discover! I'll be happy to explain the ins and outs of the Bounceback offer, which we DVC folks are sometimes less familiar with. Let's get down to business!
The Bounceback is a special offer that is sometimes available for a 7-day window after you check out of a Disney Resort Hotel. Officially known as a "Future Stay Offer", it's a discounted rate for a future stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth. When our family began coming to Walt Disney World regularly when our girls were younger, the Bounceback got us in the habit of always having a Disney vacation on the horizon to look forward to!
If you are a DVC Member using
Vacation Points for a stay, you may be eligible for a Bounceback offer. However, the future booking must be a cash reservation - you cannot use points in this instance. It's also important to keep in mind that there may be blackout dates and limitations on resort availability that apply with these offers.
To see if you have a Bounceback waiting for you, head to the Walt Disney World homepage and sign into your
My Disney Experience account. Navigate to the "Places to Stay" header, and then click on "View Special Offers" to see a list of any offers that you're currently eligible for. You can also
call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line, and the always-friendly Cast Members will be happy to lend a helping hand to book your next trip "Home".
