Hi. I've bougth 3 tickets for Disneyland last year, but we couldn't use them. The tickets were originally valid until Junuary 12, 2022. I've read that the validity has been extended for an additional year, to January 2023. Is this correct?

Hi there Gustavo, and welcome back to planDisney!

It's been quite a year for the Disneyland Resort theme parks, and we're all thankful that for the first time (in what seems like) forever, there is magic, there is fun! Like Princess Anna on her sister's coronation day, we in the planDisney family were overjoyed the day they finally opened up the gates.

Due to the extended closure of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, ticket expiration dates were modified. What you read is correct; if you have wholly unused, non-promotional multi-day tickets that were originally set to expire on January 12, 2022, they are valid until January 12, 2023. The tickets will now expire 13 days after their first use or on January 12, 2023, whichever occurs first.

It looks like you'll have plenty of time to plan your Disneyland Resort vacation, Gustavo. To make the most of your trip, I recommend staying in the middle of the magic, in a Disneyland Resort Hotel. Take a look at the options, and see what appeals to you. In my opinion, you can't beat the location and theming of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! Best wishes as you dream about your next Disney getaway, and we hope to see ya real soon!
