Greetings, Rosemary, and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for consulting planDisney, and Happy Birthday wishes to your son, how wonderful of you to gift him a ticket to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and how very thoughtful!

Rosemary, rest assured, I will do my best to help you resolve this ticket matter.

On your Disney account on your computer:
    1. If you haven’t already done so, please try to link your ticket/s to your Disney account.
    2. After linking the ticket and while on this page locate “My Disney Experience” on the far right at the top and hover over the tab until you see “My Plans - Dining, Resort hotel, tickets” and click on that.
    3. Click on the “Tickets” and you should see your son’s ticket there and beside it look for the “Modify Ticket” option and click on that.
    4. You will be presented with options to modify components of the ticket such as travel dates and any added options, please follow through to confirm.

Rosemary, if you use the My Disney Experience mobile app, please try the following after you have linked your son’s theme park ticket:
    1. Log in to My Disney Experience mobile app.
    2. Click on “My Tickets”.
    3. Click on “Change Tickets” on the next page.
    4. Select your son’s ticket and click on “Continue.”
    5. The next page will offer you the options to modify components of the ticket such as travel dates and any added options.
    6. Don’t forget to “Check Out” in case there might be a price adjustment between your previous theme park ticket start date and your new modified ticket.

If this doesn’t work for you, Rosemary, please contact Walt Disney World Resort "Tickets" as soon as possible, where the knowledgeable Cast Member will be able to assist you.

Once presented with his Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket, your son will need to make a Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservation as this is the method in place at this time for visiting the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

I hope this information is helpful to you, Rosemary, I wish you the most magical of visits to Walt Disney World Resort!
