Hi Michelle,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Looks like you’ll be arriving to the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks! Has the countdown begun yet?
I love using Disney PhotoPass because I feel like I can capture a fun moment anywhere within the Theme Parks. It’s also a nice option when you want to get everyone in the picture! I’m actually not sure if there’s a way to pay the difference for
Memory Maker online, I suggest connecting with
Disney PhotoPass via phone to ask! Hopefully, they will be able to help.
When you arrive to the Walt Disney World Resort, you could also head over to
Guest Services at
Disney Springs or within the Theme Parks to check with Cast Members there. They may also be able to help you with getting the correct Memory Maker loaded into My Disney Experience. You’ll just want to reserve some time early in your trip so you can make sure you’re utilizing the Service the entire trip!
Quick tip: Make sure to use the Disney PhotoPass locator within the
My Disney Experience mobile app. From the home screen, select the map icon, the second icon from the left on the bottom bar. When you click this, it’ll open up a map of
Magic Kingdom Park. At the top, click the arrow beside “Wait Times” and from the list, click “PhotoPass”. This will bring up Disney PhotoPass options throughout the Theme Park. You can do the same thing for the other Theme Parks by choosing “Filter” in the top left corner and selecting
EPCOT,
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or
Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This is the perfect resource to plan your Disney PhotoPass photos in advance and also know all the options that surround you!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare to capture your memories at the Walt Disney World Resort this spring.
If you have any other vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
