If we bought whole vacation for all family, need to register tickets but separately family per family, is that possible or because its one confirmation for all only one person needs to register all family?

    Welcome to planDisney, Amy!

Thank you for visiting us today with a great question! I am excited to hear that you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your whole family!

There are different ways to go about assigning theme park admission. If you decide to manage tickets for all the visitors in your travel party, you will first have to add them to My Family & Friends on My Disney Experience, and then link admission tickets to each Guest. This will also make you responsible for managing plans like Disney Park Pass reservations for your whole group. My personal experience, however, is that adults usually prefer to have direct access to their ticket details. If that is the case, I suggest that each adult Guest, or at least those who will be managing their family’s plans, create a Disney account. You could then make separate ticket purchases for each family and provide confirmation numbers to the adults managing plans for their families so they may link the tickets. I believe this is the best option especially if you have booked vacation packages including theme park tickets and a stay at a Disney Resort hotel.

Even if each family decides to link their own tickets, you can still make plans together via My Disney Experience. To connect with adult Guests, sign in to your Disney account and visit My Family & Friends. Click “Add a Guest”, select “I’ll enter their name and age”, inform their age, first name, and last name, select “Invite this Guest to connect” and provide the e-mail associated with their Disney account. If you would also like to be able to manage plans for other children (this is important if you will be responsible for making Disney Park Pass reservations for your whole group, for example), remind adults Guests to visit My Family & Friends and select “Update” right next to their name to be sure their Family & Friends list is shared. Sharing your list with connected Guests makes it easier to plan together, as you can each send invitations to other adult Guests and also request to connect with the children in their lists (this will allow you to make plans for the children, including assigning them tickets and adding them to hotel and dining reservations). To connect with other kids in your travel party, visit My Friends & Family, click "Add a Guest" and select “Find through my connected Guests”. You should be able to select the kids and send the person managing their plans and invitation to connect.

I hope this information is helpful, Amy! If you have additional questions or need help linking tickets, please call (407) 939-4357 for further assistance, and come back to visit us once again real soon for more tips and advice.

    Best magical wishes,
