I have bought WDW tickets however they have been bought in my married name. My ID is still in my maiden name. Is this a problem?

Hello there, Katie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for stopping by and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

There should not be any issue with you using your Walt Disney World tickets despite having purchased them under your maiden name! I actually had a very similar concern after my own marriage! I was very concerned about potential issues using my Walt Disney World Annual Pass since my name had technically changed since our last visit. Fortunately, it was never an issue for me! I would recommend having a copy of your name change papers or marriage certificate with you just in case, though. This is what I did during my own trip and it definitively gave me a bit more peace of mind!

Did you also know that your theme park tickets can be linked to your My Disney Experience account? By doing this, you can control many different aspects of your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Once your theme park tickets have been linked to your account, you can make FastPass+ reservations right from the My Disney Experience app or webpage! Making FastPass+ reservations can save an enormous amount of time when visiting the parks and help make you make the most of your magical stay!

I hope this information has helped soothe your worries! Please be sure to let us know if we can help you with planning any other part of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
