I have bought a vacation package and booked our park reservations, and the ePackage is available in a few weeks. I don't want to rely on just my phone to have the park tickets. Is there a way to convert to physical tickets (not just printed on paper)?

Hey there, hi there, Kari! What a fantastic name! We are so happy to see you have brought us another great question, so let's get it answered for you.

You must be so excited that you are just weeks away from your Disneyland Resort visit. It sounds like you are quite the Disney vacations expert! I know you are not alone in preferring a paper ticket. As far as I am aware, once you scan your eTickets into the park for the first time paper tickets should be printed out for you at the turnstile. You can either print out your eTickets or you can show the digital tickets in the Disneyland app in the "Tickets and Passes" section to use to scan them the first time.

Ticket Tip: While I am one that prefers a digital option and the convenience of having everything conveniently located in the Disneyland app. It can drain your phone battery easily if you are using it a lot. It's also crashed or frozen on me a time or two as I'm standing in line to scan my ticket. I now have learned it's very convenient to screenshot your ticket to easily get from your photos or set it as your screensaver so you don't even have to open your phone to scan your ticket.

Ticket Tip Two: Bring a pen with you! As the tickets print out from the turnstile machine, make sure each person holds on to their ticket until everyone is through. Then it's easiest to quickly jot down each name on the back to make things easier for your trip. As the keeper of tickets, even though everyone may remember what picture or character was on the back of their ticket,  sometimes there were duplicates and that made it difficult when getting them out again for park hopping or to use services like Disney Genie+

Kari, I hope this information is helpful! Please come back and see us again if you come across any other questions. See you real soon!
