Just bought a vacation home and plan on being snowbirds can we get discounted annual passes?

Hi, Christine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel - and welcome to the Sunshine State! Let's get you on your way to enjoying lots of Disney days in your new part-time home.

You must be so excited to be starting this new adventure! Don't forget to send all of your friends and family up north pictures of palm trees all winter. It's one of the perks of being a Floridian!

Another perk of Florida life is visiting the Walt Disney World Resort whenever you like, and Florida Resident Annual Passes are the key to making it happen. In order to purchase and activate Florida Resident Annual Passes, you'll need to provide proof of Florida residency at a Guest Relations location at any Walt Disney World Theme Park or at Disney Springs. That can be a Florida driver's license or state-issued ID card, or Florida-based military ID. Absent that, you can also use things like a mortgage statement, utility bill, or mail from a government agency, among others. You'll find a detailed list of evidence accepted as proof of Florida residency at the link I provided above.

Christine, once you've sorted that out, be sure to check out all the great benefits and discounts you can get as an Annual Passholder! I almost never come home from Walt Disney World empty-handed, so I definitely make good use of our discount.

I hope I was able to provide the information you needed, Christine. Please stop by again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
