We have bought our vacation to Disney in September, but are having troubles, we have not been able to get a single reservation for any of the days that we are going to be there. Does anyone have any suggestions.

    Hi Toni:

It's very disappointing that you cannot get reservations at your favorite restaurants. With Advance Dining Reservations available 180-days in advance, being even slightly slow on the trigger can make it tough to secure a reservation at your favorite restaurants. What I would do is to book reservations at secondary choices, just so you can make sure you have some reservations and aren't stuck scrambling to find a place to eat at the last minute. You may find some favorites by trying new places. After securing dining reservations at your secondary choices, I would then check for availability at your primary choices periodically. Cancellations happen, and there is a chance you can grab a reservation due to a cancellation. Also, being flexible with your dining times can really increase your chances of getting a table (turn late breakfast or early lunch into brunch). You can also try a walk-up without a reservation. However, certain restaurants are so popular that unless there are last-minute cancellations or no-shows, you may end up having a long wait or being told there is no availability. If you have young children, it may be risky to chance the walk-ups since they may not be up for a long wait.
