I just bought two tickets for the park, how do I link them to my magic bands

    Hiya, Carla!

Welcome to planDisney. There are just a few short weeks until you are strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., humming your favorite Disney tunes with some extra pixie dust in your step! Halloween Time has taken over the resort, and you're going to love finding happy haunts in every corner, from Mickey and Minnie in their seasonal best to limited-time treats and entertainment. But, first things first, let's make sure your Disneyland ducks are all in a row with your MagicBand+ and tickets!

A MagicBand+ adds some extra ease and whimsy to your park day. With a simple tap, you can enter the parks, check in for your Lightning Lane return times, or even capture any Disney PhotoPass photos you capture that day. You'll be able to link your new tickets to an existing or new MagicBand+ with just a few taps in the Disneyland app. Your tickets should automatically be linked to your account at the time of purchase. Head into the app, tapping the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner, and select "My Tickets and Passes" to ensure they are in the right spot. You should be able to scroll left to see multiple tickets. If you have previously used your bands and just need to link them to new tickets, head back to the three-line icon and scroll down to "MagicBand+" under the "Account" section. Here, you should see any previously linked bands. Simply choose the band you want to link and tap "Assign to a Ticket or Magic Key Pass". On the next page, you select the ticket you would like to link from those available in your account. Tap "Assign" and away you go! Repeat this process for the second ticket.

If you have a new MagicBand+ that you'd like to link to your account, tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner. You'll hold your band near the device until it registers and follow the instructions from there, just like magic!

In addition to the spooky season, you will get to enjoy the 70th Anniversary Celebration! There are special MagicBand+ activations throughout Disneyland park in an ode to some of the original attractions. I don't want to give too much away, but seek and find a surprise in Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Frontierland, and Main Street!

Carla, I hope this has helped navigate your way to the magic. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    Enjoy your visit!
