Hello there, Scarlett!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with an excellent question. It is a pleasure to help you plan a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your family!
I am happy to confirm that you do not need a ticket for your 6-month-old son. Children under the age of 3 are Mickey’s Guests of honor and do not need theme park admission. Your baby will also be able to accompany you as you enjoy attractions booked with
Disney Genie+ service, as long as he meets the height requirements. You will not have to include him while making a Disney Genie+ selection because he will not have a ticket.
Visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with little ones is truly special. You will notice that several attractions were designed for Guests of any height, which makes it easier for families and friends to have fun together. Your baby will have a great time at all four theme parks, but I especially recommend Magic Kingdom Park for little ones. If you need to take a break during the day, feed your baby, or purchase baby products like diapers, stop by the
Baby Care Centers at all four theme parks. In addition, I suggest learning more about
Rider Switch service, which allows adult Guests to take turns waiting with a Guest or child unable to experience a particular attraction.
I hope this information is helpful, Scarlett. Come back to visit us with more questions as you plan your visit. We are delighted to help Guests as they dream of a Walt Disney World Resort adventure!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
