Welcome to planDisney! I love that you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your sister. I have such fond memories visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth with my brother when we were younger. He’s much busier now, but your question is reminding me that I might need to schedule a sibling trip for 2026.
Now let’s see if we can’t figure out how to help you with your
MagicBand+ question. Unfortunately, once you link a MagicBand+ to a My Disney Experience account, it cannot be
transferred to another account or Guest. That said, if I were you, my next step would be to reach out to a Cast Member in
App and MagicBand Support over the phone. Since you mentioned that you manage your sister’s account, they might be able to help you explore your options and advise you of next steps (though there are no guarantees).
I hope this all works out, Roxanne, and that you can get back to making memories with your sister. Before I let you go, though, I do want to share a plan B with you in case they aren’t able to help you with your MagicBands. Get a Key to the World card at Guest Relations or your resort hotel front desk. These cards can hold your sister’s tickets and can be used the same way a MagicBand+ can. We love to use these when we travel with our children because they enjoy taking our MagicBands for themselves to play with. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
