Linking a Magic Band to your Disney account is relatively easy, thanks to
My Disney Experience! If you purchased your MagicBand online at shopDisney or a retail location, you would first need to sign in to your Disney Account. You will then need to “
Link your MagicBand” to your Disney account. To do this, if you look at the inside portion of your
MagicBand (the part of the band that rests against your wrist), you will see a 12-digit ID number. You will enter that ID Number in the white box. At the bottom of the screen, select the “Next” button. You then can “Assign” the person that the MagicBand will be linked. Once you’ve assigned the band, then “Confirm.” Once your MagicBand is assigned to a specific person, that band can be used with any ticket linked to the account.
If you need to link a Theme park Ticket or Pass to your account, you will do it in a similar fashion. On the back of the ticket, you will enter the 12-digit ID Number. Select “Next,” Assign the ticket, and Confirm. If you are using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, select “Tickets and Passes. To add a Ticket, there is a “+” sign at the top right-hand side of your screen. Once you press the “+” sign, there are three options. Select “Link Tickets & Passes.” You will then be able to either manually enter the ID code or Scan Code using your phone camera. After you link the ticket, you can then assign the ticket just as you did your MagicBand.
