I bought two Disneyland tickets in October of 2024, due to a friend's illness they were never used. How long are they valid for? Can I just go online and reschedule with another's name on one ticket? Thank you

Hey there, hi there, Mary! We are thrilled you stopped by with your planning questions for us. Welcome to planDisney!

I am so sorry to hear that illness kept a friend from being able to enjoy a visit to Disneyland last fall. If you purchased standard tickets last fall, they should still be valid. For example, a ticket purchased today would be valid through December 30, 2026. To check the expiration date of the ticket, link your ticket to the Disneyland app. Once it is linked, you should be able to see the expiration date underneath the barcode. If you have trouble locating the expiration date, please reach out to Ticket Services, as they would be able to look up the ticket information for you to see the expiration date.

Another quick way to see if they are still valid is to simply try to book new theme park ticket reservations for them. If you can make reservations, you will know they are valid and good to go! I wouldn't worry about the name on the ticket; that is more so for you to distinguish these tickets in the app. If it's a standard ticket, you won't be asked for ID to verify the name. If it bothers you, you can always request the name change through Ticket Services as well.

Mary, I really hope you are able to make a Disneyland visit happen soon! There's so much to see and do for the 70th Celebration. Please come back and see us again if you have any other questions for us.
