We bought a two day pass for next week but haven’t received our Disney bands. Instead it looks like we are being encouraged to use the phone app. We prefer getting bands. How can we order those?

    Hi Geoffrey! Welcome to planDisney.

How excited is the family to be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in just a matter of days during The World’s Most Magical Celebration? Make sure the gang keeps their eyes peeled for the golden Disney Fab 50 Character Collection. I found the perfect selfie location in Magic Kingdom Park at the famous Purple Wall near Tomorrowland Terrace with that naughty Stitch.

I am with you! I love my MagicBands and would find it hard to give them up. I may possibly have over 25 of the bad boys in a drawer, but whose’s counting? Because you are so close to your arrival, you will need to make that purchase onsite. Hakuna Matata! There are plenty of options all around Walt Disney World. Look for them at Disney Resorts Collection hotels, Disney Springs, and all of the theme parks. Each band will have an identification number to link to the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

To link a new band, open the app and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. Scroll down to “My Profile” and select “MagicBands & Cards.” If you have any past MagicBands or cards that are active, you are free to use those as well. Next, choose “Link a MagicBand or Card.” You will be prompted to either Scan a Code or enter the ID Code. If you would like a ticket card, simply stop by any ticket booth located outside of all theme parks or visit The Ticket Center at Disney Springs.

I am going to encourage you to at least test out the new Disney MagicMobile Service. By setting up your pass and saving to your digital wallet in Express Mode, you simply tap your smartphone or Apple Watch at the gate, for an easy and fast entry to the parks. I literally just returned home from the house of the mouse. Don’t tell anyone, but I forgot my MagicBands and used my MagicMobile pass the whole trip. While I will never part with my arm candy, I did quite like the ease of MagicMobile. Here’s a link to how to set it up.

While at the parks, stop by the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Take a stroll admiring the beautiful flower displays, living topiaries, and delicious outdoor kitchen fresh delights.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
