Hi Nolwen,
What I love most about park hopping between the Disneyland Resort theme parks is that I feel I experience the best of all the magic. I get to enjoy my favorite moments in the same day. For example, I can start my morning with a thrilling launch from Space Mountain at Disneyland Park, and end my evening with a relaxing recap at Carthay Circle Lounge at Disney California Adventure Park. Getting to experience the best of all the magic is one of the reasons I always recommend a Park Hopper ticket.
Nolwen, I'm happy to see you purchased Park Hopper tickets for yourself, though I'm sorry to hear you were not able to make theme park reservations as you expected.
My thinking is that there's a key question to ask for why you were not able to make a reservation with the reservation system. Are there theme park reservations available for the dates you want to visit?
If you take a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, you can see which theme parks have reservations available. When you make a theme park reservation, you're making a reservation for the park you wish to begin your day visiting. The calendar will show you if both parks have reservations, or if only one of the parks has reservations, or if neither park has reservations available.
My suggestion, Nolwen, is to take a look at
making theme park reservations based on availability for dates you might wish to visit.
If you feel you need additional assistance, you can try to chat with Disneyland Resort Cast Members using the "Chat with Us" feature in the
Disneyland Resort mobile app. You can also try to
call the Disneyland Resort Ticket team at (714) 781-4636.
Nolwen, I hope these tips are helpful to you. We look forward to helping you again if you have additional questions.
