Hi Daniella,
Welcome to the Walt Disney World® Resort
Annual Passholder family! I am always delighted to greet a fellow passholder.
If that Annual Pass has not been used, you can
follow these instructions to reassign the pass. Just make sure you have connected to her new My Disney Experience account through the My Family & Friends List.
Having gone through a similar issue in the past, I suggest that you
contact a cast member in Website Support if you already have plans like
advanced dining reservations. I previously managed everyone's My Disney Experience account in my family - my husband, the girls, and my mom. One of our girls had a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort without us and needed her own My Disney Experience Account. At the time, we had park pass reservations, advanced dining reservations, and a split resort hotel stay linked in My Disney Experience. Thankfully, the cast member was able to keep all plans connected to everyone.
Now that you are an Annual Passholder, I do hope you are familiarizing yourself with all of the discounts on merchandise, dining, and experiences. I just checked out the
Disney After Hours Special Event Tickets and was happy with the Annual Passholder discount. One word of advice - if you are unsure, never hesitate to ask if a location offers an Annual Passholder discount. My family is much better at remembering to check those discounts prior to our visit AND ask while we are there!
Daniella, let me say, if I were in the awards business, you would be up for spouse of the year! How wonderful of you to buy an Annual Pass for your wife. Know that you have quite a few fairy godmothers here sprinkling magic, preparing for your first visit as Annual Passholders!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
