Hey there, Alex! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your military ticket question. I'd be happy to help you out, but first please let me thank you for your service on behalf of all of us here at planDisney. We salute you!
I'm thrilled to hear that you have been able to get the
Disney Military Promotional Tickets. My husband is active duty and our family has been able to enjoy these tickets many times. I would love to be able to walk you through the steps to make sure that you have theme park ticket reservations. These are required along with the tickets to enter the parks. To do this, I suggest downloading the
Disneyland app. This is because you will want the app to be able to navigate throughout the parks and use the many features in the app while you are in the parks.
After you download the app, there should be an option right on the homepage to either sign in to your Disney account or create one. Do that first. Now you will want to click on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the screen. Then you will click on "Tickets and Passes". Click on the "Link Tickets and Passes" at the top right. Here you will scan the barcode from each ticket or enter the ID number of each ticket so that you can link them to your Disney account. Once you've done that, then you will need to click on the plus sign in the middle of the menu bar at the bottom of the screen and click on "Make a Park Reservation". On the next page, click on the blue link that says "Make Park Reservations". Then on the following page, "Book Theme Park Reservations". Now you will select the tickets that you want to make the reservations for and click continue. You will then be taken to a calendar where you will select the date you want to visit and then below that select which park you want to start your day in. If you have a Park Hopper ticket you will need to start out in the park selected, but then after 1:00 p.m., you will be able to switch to the other park and park hop. Finally, you will review your reservations and then click confirm. Then you can go back and go through the process to reserve other dates if you are going multiple days.
Now you should be all set! When you arrive at Disneyland Resort you will go back to that "Ticket and Passes" screen and they will be able to scan you into the park with those digital tickets in your app. I recommend taking some time to familiarize yourself with the Disneyland app. You will see there is a park map with wait times for all of the attractions. There is also a really great feature,
mobile ordering, which allows you to order food from many quick service options throughout the park and avoid waiting in lines.
Alex, I hope this information helped you get your reservations confirmed and that you are now one step closer to enjoying the magic of Disneyland Resort. See you real soon!
Carrie
